Upon arrival, a spacious private driveway allows parking for up to three vehicles comfortably, or four smaller cars. You enter through the main front door into a welcoming porch, before stepping into the grand central hallway, a space that immediately showcases the property’s character, scale and timeless elegance.

Ground Floor Living

The main living room of the house is a warm and inviting space designed for relaxation and togetherness. Tastefully furnished with plush seating, it offers plenty of room for everyone to unwind. An attractive ornamental fireplace provides a charming focal point (currently not in use) while the Smart TV makes it perfect for cosy film nights or relaxed evenings in. Large windows flood the room with natural light, enhancing its calm and comfortable atmosphere.

Leading directly from the living room, the light-filled conservatory has been transformed into a fantastic games room, ideal for guests of all ages. Overlooking the gardens, this space features a air hockey table, creating a sociable area for friendly competition and laid-back fun.

The elegant dining room provides a wonderful setting for shared meals and celebrations. With seating for eight guests, plus a breakfast bar offering additional dining space, everyone can gather comfortably to enjoy long, unhurried dinners together.

At the heart of the home lies the beautifully equipped country kitchen, designed with both practicality and comfort in mind. Here you’ll find everything needed to cook up a storm, including a gas range cooker, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. A cosy seating area and television make this a welcoming social hub, while the log-burning fireplace adds warmth and charm (guests are kindly asked to supply their own logs).

Adjoining the kitchen is a highly practical additional area, featuring a downstairs WC and a dedicated space for washing off muddy paws, making The Old Rectory an excellent choice for dog-friendly holidays.

The first floor hosts four beautifully presented bedrooms, each offering comfort, space and its own unique charm.

Bedroom One is a luxurious super-king suite, complete with a comfortable sofa and a spacious Jack-and-Jill bathroom serving as an en-suite. This includes a bath with shower over, WC, and a walk-through dressing and ironing area for added convenience.

Bedroom Two, accessed from the opposite side of the Jack-and-Jill bathroom, features a bunk bed configuration with a double lower bunk and a single upper bunk, sleeping up to three guests.

The main family bathroom is located along the corridor and features a large walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.

Bedroom Three is a welcoming king-size room with wardrobe space and a sofa, ideal for quiet relaxation.

Bedroom Four is another generous super-king bedroom, also featuring a day bed. This can be made up on request to accommodate additional guests for a small supplementary linen and towel fee.

Basement Retreat – Ideal for Teenagers & Kids

The basement level offers a fantastic self-contained space, perfect for teenagers or children to enjoy their own area. Accessed via stairs from the kitchen, this level includes a relaxed lounge with bean bags, seating and a wall-mounted TV ready for a games console.

There is also a separate king-size bedroom, a compact kitchenette for making hot drinks, and a private shower room with WC, making this level feel like a retreat within the home.

Gardens, Hot Tub & Outdoor Living

Stepping outside from the conservatory, guests are welcomed into the property’s expansive private gardens, a true highlight of The Old Rectory. Surrounded by greenery and offering a wonderful sense of seclusion, the grounds are perfect for both relaxation and outdoor entertaining.

A pergola-covered seating area provides a spot to unwind, while the luxurious hard-base hot tub invites you to relax and soak under the stars after a day exploring the surrounding countryside and coastline.
