Nestled atop an elevated position amidst breathtaking countryside, West Barn offers guests spectacular panoramic views of the iconic Llyn Fan Fach escarpment and the distant, rolling mountains of Wales. Originally a traditional dairy barn, this charming property has been thoughtfully and tastefully converted to provide a cosy yet stylish holiday retreat, combining rustic charm with modern comforts.
Perfectly tucked away off the beaten track, West Barn provides a peaceful escape while remaining within easy reach of vibrant market towns, charming villages, and some of Wales’ finest attractions. Whether you're seeking a tranquil retreat, an outdoor adventure, or a cultural exploration, this is the ideal base for all those who appreciate nature, wildlife, and stunning scenery.
Accommodation & Features
Sleeping up to four guests comfortably, West Barn offers a spacious master bedroom with a luxurious super king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a relaxing jacuzzi bath. The second bedroom is furnished with a zip link bed that can be configured as two single beds, or zupped together to create a king size (please let us know in advance, if you don't let us know will be 2 singles) perfect for friends or family. The en-suite bathrooms include both a bath and shower options, ensuring full comfort during your stay.
The fully equipped, modern kitchen makes meal preparation a pleasure, whether you’re cooking up a hearty breakfast or a special dinner. The living area is full of character, boasting a vaulted ceiling with charming beams, a cosy log fire for winter evenings (1 batch of logs supplied), and large bi-fold doors that open onto the garden, inviting the outdoors inside on warm summer days.
Step outside onto the private patio, where you can enjoy barbecues and alfresco dining, or unwind in the six-person jacuzzi hot tub, a perfect way to relax while soaking up the stunning countryside vistas. There is an expansive out door are to enjoy, along with a private field ideal for letting the kids run around and play.
Dog friendly
We allow 1 medium size dog or to small dogs on request. There is a private enclosed 3 acre field for your four legged companion to have a good run around making this the ideal place for a dog friendly holiday.
For your convenience, West Barn also features a small gym to help keep up with your fitness routine during your stay. Additionally, electric vehicle charging points are available at a metered cost, making it easy to explore the area sustainably.
