Llanelli is a market town and community in Carmarthenshire and the preserved county of Dyfed, Wales.

It is located on the Loughor estuary and is the largest town in the county of Carmarthenshire. Llanelli is ideally situated between Swansea and Carmarthen and you’ll hear the Welsh language widely spoken in this coastal town. The town’s passion for rugby shines through, as Llanelli is home to the world-famous Llanelli Scarlets Rugby team and even has its very own Rugby Union stadium, Parc y Scarlets. In recent years a great deal of development has been completed in the Town Centre which is seeing a gradual improvement with the support of monetary grants. Additionally, the completion of the East Gate Leisure development and Ffwrnes Theatre have boosted the facilities available to the Community. There are a number of Town Centre historical attractions including Llanelly House and Parc Howard. A world class Nicklaus designed golf resort sits on the coast at the edge of Llanelli Town. The coastal area includes the Millenium Coastal Path and Penclacwydd Wetlands Centre.
